Doll for Miss M.

Miss M needed a new folk doll.  She found the pattern herself at our new quilt shop, Scottsdale Quilts!  To follow is the progress.  The pattern is called Recycled Sisters, A Leslie McCabe Design for Indygo Junction.  I had a sweater to dye and Miss M wanted a purple one so off I went to gather the dye supplies.  The sweater was 100% wool so it took the dye well and felted beautifully.

The 2015 International Spring Quilt Market is now over.  What a trip.............................
It was
an amazing experience from start to finish.  My "roomie", Vanessa Fromm of Fabric Confetti made the adventure especially wonderful.  Market is not only about selling your own designs, it is about the connections/networking and re-connecting with old friends and making new.  The energy is contagious and inspiration is beyond explanation.  Oh boy but there are some talented people in the world and some were so incredibly gracious in sharing.

Market, Market, Market is my life at the moment.  I still have pattern writing to do and booth decor to create-would love any input.  These are quilt patterns from Fall Market.  It's a little too early to post our new patterns!  Sneak peaks are on my IG.  The hexi quilt is made using Moda Pre-Cuts.  The pattern shows how to turn them into rectangles making easy piecing and the secondary design.  The circle quilt is done using the circle die cut from the Acu-Quilt Go-Cutter and Cotton and Steel fabric.  Those designers are an amazing and talented group.  Both patterns are available at many quilt shops or at
